About Natranutrition
Hi, I'm Rachel, founder of Natranutrition. My background with nutrition goes right back to my childhood. Growing up with a mum who was always 100 percent passionate about providing us with proper wholesome home cooked food. She opened her own wholefood restaurant in the early 80s and was way ahead of her game. Growing up was foraging and eating from a vegetable patch in the back garden.
I carried on that passion with my own kids. Everything I've cooked has always been from scratch and together, we spent many an hour roaming the countryside looking for what delicious treats we could find in the hedgerows and what medicine we could make it into. Food is at the heart of every family gathering and a true respect for where it comes from and how it was grown.
My passion and intrigue for all things nutritious led me to consolidate my knowledge in a naturopathic nutrition course, gaining a distinction at The College of Naturopathic Medicine in London. I am a member of the General Naturopathic Council, the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners and am a certified SIBO practitioner with the SIBO doctor. I study herbs alongside my practice, dial in with peers on a monthly basis, check in with my mentor to keep me on track, as well as attend regular webinars and seminars to further my knowledge. My approach emphasises sustainable and organic practices ensuring that food and lifestyle choices support both health and the environment.
If you work with me, we will go back in time and look at your health history starting from birth to get to the true root cause of what is going on. I will help you work out how you can implement the plan that I will write for you so that it becomes a part of the way that you live, not just a fad diet. We'll look at how you can strip back the things that no longer serve you so that you can move into a future that is symptom and pain free.
